Job Description
Position Overview
This role upholds brand identity and creates an aesthetically pleasing environment for shoppers increasing company revenue.
Job Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate all VM from NYC HQ to Asia region
- Have an understanding of the Asia markets for delivering the most desirable VM package possible for each market
- Implement necessary corrections and substitutions due to the difference in layout and merchandise availability at different locations
- Provide visual guideline / training to the store-level staff
- Plan and conduct regular store visits to ensure corporate VM standards are well maintained
- Oversee VM for HK & Macau of the direct retail markets
- Work with franchise partners for China / Taiwan and Singapore
- Participate in events, store openings and renovations with marketing and PR teams to ensure the visual direction is consistent and aligned
- Work with suppliers / contractors to create assets for VM instore execution
- Other ad hoc projects
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Merchandising or related disciple
- 3 years’ or above hands-on experience in fashion retail visual merchandising preferably in international luxury brands
- Self starter, creative and independent thinker, business orientated and able to question/critique and provide further insights and ideas
- Excellent communications and inter-personal skills
- Excellent command in written and spoken English and Chinese, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Photoshop and illustrator
