• Possessing specialist knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software;
• DevOps designing/writing/delivering system automation and CI/CD pipeline;
• Act as a key contributor in the continued development of tools, frameworks & techniques to improve productivity and Quality of Production management function, adopting the DevOps principles to manage and support the environment;
• Automate away the boring stuff and build with user self-service in mind;
• Design, develop, maintain and enhance products installation/setup and deployment architectures. Identify and solve end-user problems concerning installers;
• Creating tools, services and automation so that developers and engineers are as hands-off as possible. Automate the build and deployment of software services and configurations;
• Write professional comprehensive documentation; including but not limited to project proposals, requirement specifications, functional specifications, implementation plans, test plans, user guides and deployment plans;
• Work with different teams to support end-to-end application implementation services for external clients and within organisation;
• Deploy in-house develop systems to external clients and within organisation following standard procedures and protocol;
• Work with the Project Manager to support end-to-end application implementation services and project delivery;
• Stay close to the business development of various lines of service and cultivate strong relationships with end users;
• Explore and recommend new technologies to improvements to existing IT services.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines;
• 3+ years’ working experience in application support, system implementation & deployment, solution advisory; software design experience is preferable. Candidates with less experience will be considered;
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills; strong business sense and good business writing skills;
• Sound track record for successful system implementation;
• Server experience in Microsoft Server, MongoDB server, Elastic Search server, Neo4j;
• Experience with CI/CD and related tools (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo, Puppet, Ansible, GitHub, Svn, git stash, Jmeter, Selenium);
• Experience with a modern programming language: Go, node, python, ruby, PowerShell, Bash, Ksh, Perl, Python;
• Strong DevOps scripting skills, deployment automation and configuration management;
• Cloud experience Azure, AWS or Google a plus;
• Operating zero downtime deployments via ""blue/green"" (or ""red/black""), rolling deployments, or canary releases;
• Ability to maintain effective communication and good relationships with team members;
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, self-motivated and able to work under pressure;
• Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
