Responsibilities:

• Execute business analysis, provide input and develop the business case for a project by identifying the benefit associated with the project and determine the operational dependencies and assumptions
• Support the creation and development of plans for growth and innovation to conduct business analysis
• Understand and define business needs and translating them into business processes and system needs (process mapping, requirement gathering, scoping)
• Identify benefits associated with particular pieces of work, operational dependencies, and establish appropriate proposals to clearly articulate the requirements
• Has a customer first mindset and the operation is set up to put the customer first especially when linking with other operations or business
• Ensures that the business requirements drive cost benefit analysis, recommended solutions and the agreed cost parameters to ensure they are accurate and are aligned with the business strategy / outcomes
• Collaborate with SME's, stakeholders and wider team to deliver on key initiatives
• Collaborate and work with cross functional teams to take the project from feasibility through to detailed design, implementation, testing and go live
• Mapping of business processes, supporting training delivery and that business users get ready for the implementation of IT solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree on computer science, information technology or a related discipline
• IIBS Certification CBAP or comparable experience desirable
• PMP / PMI / PRINCE2 / PMBOK or equivalent certification desirable
• Experience in translating business requirements into a "fit for purpose" solution, preferably knowledge in cargo wise system
• Experience with techniques such as use case analysis, data/process flow diagramming, process mapping and detailed business and functional requirements documentation
• Experience and understanding of business and IT needs in logistics and transport operations
• Experience in a Business Analyst and project management capacity with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
