Logistic Assistant

 Responsibilities

• Trace, track and expedite purchasing processes
• Create and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Interact with third party logistics service providers
• Ensure accuracy of all documents
• Maintain communication with supplier’s staff to ensure proper working order
• Provide support through all the shipment process from the time client places the order until the clearance of the goods at the receiving port
• Follow up documentation (ex: Cert. of origins, Health certification, BOL and others)
• Ensure all payments are processed in time
• Assist sales department and supplier with their inquiries
• Update shipment information
• Organize files both manually and electronically
• Monitor and facilitate orders
• Coordinate deliveries
• Any other ad-hoc activity assigned

 Requirements

• Degree holder in office administration management / logistics or related discipline are preferred. Non Degree holders might be considered depending on experience
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in similar position
• Excellent command in English is mandatory, both oral and written. French, Cantonese and Mandarin will be a plus
• Proficient PC knowledge in MS Office, Excel, Power point, Netsuite
• Able to handle multi-tasks independently and work under tight deadlines and pressure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and willing to work in a multicultural environment
• Responsible, autonomous, mature, well-organized and detailed-minded
• Starting date ASAP
