What will you be doing?

We're looking for someone to master the company inventory and outbound shipments for our global expansion. You'll have three responsibilities in this role:

Procurement: you'll be responsible for following our expansion plan to do the equipment sourcing from different manufacturers in different countries. After confirmed the launch date of a new location, you'll need to place procurement orders for the upcoming deployment project: from ordering motion capture cameras, server computers, backpack computers, routers, props and small accessories, tracking the orders and deliveries and make sure the equipment can be well received, well documentation for all pricing and purchase orders.

Logistics: you'll be responsible for handle all outbound shipments to different countries in below aspects,
(1) proposing a logistics plan with the schedule, delivery method and shipping agents, estimating shipment costs including tax/duty and shipment free
(2) preparing the equipment in a warehouse and wait for deployment team to pack, arranging shipping agent to collect the packages
(3) preparing export forms/documents, following up clearance issue with global customs, arranging tax/duty payment, make sure the recipient can receive all the equipment before deployment start

Inventory: you'll be responsible for taking stocks and maintaining a safety inventory in Hong Kong warehouse, from making a clear inventory record, equipment in/out records, defining a safety inventory scheme

Who are we looking for?
Logistics Experience - This is a senior logistics role, so we're looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of experience in Logistics. You must be highly proficient in shipping arrangement and clearance process since you'll need to deal with many different kinds of logistics issues. You must also understand how to find the most suitable way to deliver the equipment to different countries timely.

Organized and Multi-Tasking - You should be very organized to manage the records and documentation, as you'll need to weekly report the procurement, inventory and shipment status to deployment team. You must also be multi-tasking on works because you'll need to handle 2-3 projects at the same time as we all expanding very rapidly.

Diligent - The current logistics and inventory system and workflow are incomplete, so you'll need to take care of the incomplete processes and at the same time keep doing researches to find a better way to improve the works.

How can you really impress us?
If you've got the practice to have a checklist and calendar for your daily work, that would be preferred. You will be working on a few projects at the same time, so you'll need to plan and priority everything very clearly.

If you've worked for a logistics firm with experience of shipping electronic devices, gun shape items, and batteries, that would be an advantage. You'll mainly be sending these kinds of equipment frequently, so any experience of these kinds of shipment would be beneficial.
