Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists Manager of Professional Development Section in the implementation of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Scheme, including developing, organizing, delivering and promoting Estate Agents Authority CPD activities; compiling statistics and analysis reports relating to the Scheme and ensure licensees, activity providers and other relevant institutions observe the provisions of the CPD Scheme Guidelines; exploring and implementing enhancement measures of the CPD Scheme; encouraging licesees’ participation of CPD activities; and ensuring the quality of CPD provisions
  • Oversee the general administration of the CPD Scheme including processing various applications under the CPD Scheme e.g. endorsement of CPD activities, award of CPD points, etc
  • Handle enquires on CPD Scheme and related matters. Disseminate information of the CPD Scheme and related matters to estate agency trade practitioners
  • Supervise supporting staff in the Professional Development Section

Requirements

  • A recognized university degree
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in organizing training activities (or 3 years’ post-qualification experience of a recognized profession), preferably 3 years of which at supervisory level, property-related legal background a plus
  • Good command of English and Chinese (Preferably attained Grade “C” or above in English language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in HKCEE, or Level 4 or above in HKDSE, or equivalent)
  • Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate with staff at all levels
  • Strong organizing skills, meticulous and able to meet deadlines

Terms of Appointment

Competitive remuneration package commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointee will initially be offered a 3-year contract, subject to renewal upon satisfactory performance and the service needs of the Authority.
