Our client is a renowned bank, to cope with their business expansion, they are currently hiring a Section Head to join their Securities team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the daily operation of two teams including data processing and departmental risk control;
• Monitor margin call / exceed line and perform risk surveillance of share financing in response to market upheaval;
• Manage data governance standards for data quality;
• Establish and enhance policies and procedures in respect of securities operation to ensure full compliance with external regulatory requirements, internal bank polices and operation risk control;
• Perform review of end to end processes and identify areas for improvement to increase the efficiency;
• Formulate, drive and implement process enhancement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness;
• Provide advisory support on procedural issues; and
• Involve proactively in ad hoc projects and assignment. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree holder in any discipline(s);
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in securities operation;
• Prior experience with margin lending business, data management & governance role, able to provide expertise in data quality processes;
• Strong leadership and ability to work with all levels;
• Self-motivation with excellent interpersonal skills, able to multi-task and work under pressure;
• Proficiency in spoken and written Cantonese, English and ideally Mandarin; and
• Strong in Microsoft excel, word and PowerPoint (including Chinese Word Processing) and VBA programming.
