Responsibilities

• Assist in formulation of investment strategies and financial models for the long run investments in financial, healthcare and consumer sectors
• Screen investment opportunities and conduct industry research including financial modelling and valuation, prepare reports on industry trends, risk analysis, capital allocation plans supporting investment literature to facilitate decision making
• Conduct financial, commercial, legal and regulatory due diligence of the investment projects including preparation of financial forecasts, business plans and budgets
• Manage the overall workflow and assigned resources of the investment projects
• Assist in negotiation of terms of transaction and preparation of investment documents
• Keep abreast of market movements, assess their implications on the responsible business and investment projects and make recommendations
• Monitor the assigned business and special projects

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Investment or a related discipline, professional qualifications such as CPA or CFA are highly preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in buy-side firms or financial institutions with exposure in private equity, acquisition or transaction advisory in relation to financial / healthcare / consumer sector, multinational corporation and international market experience are highly preferred
• In-depth knowledge and extensive experience in financial investment, financial analysis with proven track record in managing investment portfolios
• Great interpersonal and presentation skills and is able to communicate well with senior management
• High level of discipline and integrity with positive attitude and ability to work independently and under pressure
• Excellent command in spoken and written English and Chinese with fluency in Mandarin, other major European languages such as French, Spanish or German will be a plus
