Job Description
Our Transaction Advisory Services Team comprises professionals from various disciplines and is experienced in advising on domestic and cross-border transactions. We take on the role of an in-house corporate finance team for companies to support their needs in acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures and strategic alliances. We offer the flexibility of customizing our services to suit their needs for different stages of transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in transaction support service including financial due diligence work and special assignments.
- Assist in valuation service including detailed financial analysis and modelling and valuation report generation for business, intangible assets and financial instruments for different purposes including transaction, financial and tax reporting, etc.
- Perform job-related research and other transaction services support as necessary.
- Strong team spirit to work with team members and cross departments staff.
- Assist senior manager in developing training materials and service proposals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification as well as relevant professional valuation certifications or student member such as CFA, CVA, ASA, CPA/ABV, FRM a plus.
- Minimum of five years’ work experience in finance/accounting/audit/valuation, preferably with some experience in financial due diligence or valuation services from audit firms, banks, appraisal firms or other financial institutions. Candidates with less experience will also be considered for the position of Senior Consultant.
- Knowledge in accounting standards as well as listing rules a plus;
- Excellent written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work additional hours as needed.
- Willing to travel to various client sites.
