GRADUATE SCHOOL

The Graduate School supports the development of strategic directions and provides central administration for the University’s research efforts and postgraduate education.  The School is now looking for a dynamic and dedicated person to perform administration duties for taught postgraduate programmes.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Initiate, plan, and implement activities in relation to the Taught Postgraduate Programmes (TPg)
• Assist to develop policies and procedures of TPg programmes
• Provide support in the Committee work
• Assist the team head to oversee the administration of TPg and to conduct continuous review on the appropriateness and timeliness of the policies and guidelines
• Supervise, motivate and provide guidelines to the team
• Carry out ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors

Applicant should have

• a good Bachelor’s degree, and preferably with a higher qualification.
• a minimum of five years of relevant work experience is preferred.
• excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), strong communication and interpersonal skills, good analytical ability and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Proficiency in computing applications particularly in using databases and spreadsheets.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. 

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
