Job Description

Our client, a Hong Kong's cultural authority dedicated to hire a Project Coordinator to support its Performing Arts Department’s daily operation.

You will be responsible for:

  • assisting in organising and implementation of performing arts programmes / initiatives with local and overseas partners / artists involved;
  • handling general event coordination and administrative / documentation work and providing related documentation support in coordination with teams within Performing Arts Department, across other departments of authority, as well as external working partners;
  • supporting multi-genre artistic programmes, special projects, macro-planning, authority wide matters and Music Centre planning / coordination works; and
  • monitoring the budget and assisting in accounting arrangement.

You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree preferably in performing arts, arts or cultural studies, arts management, arts education or equivalent;
  • have at least 4 to 6 years of experience preferably in performing arts field, arts / cultural organisations, organising arts and cultural events;
  • be interested and knowledgeable in arts and cultural scene of Hong Kong, and preferably have programming and administrative experience and knowledge;
  • be self-motivated and meticulous to detail, able to work independently and provide quality, timely support and delivery;
  • possess good organisation and planning skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as multi-tasking ability;
  • have strong adaptability and be open to work during non-office hours, weekends and public holidays when events or programmes are organised;
  • have proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
