Job Description

ESTATES OFFICE

Being a member of the Project Management Section, the appointee will assist in managing the implementation of capital projects and alteration/addition/improvement/renovation works.  He/She will also be responsible for the coordination work of acquiring and installing furniture, fittings and equipment and liaising with end users, consultants, contractors and suppliers. The appointee will assist in preparing internal reports and project programmes as well as monitoring the work of consultants/contractors. He/She will occasionally be responsible for production of design drawing, layout plans, 3D rendering material specifications, working drawings, tender documents and other project-control documents for in-house campus projects.

Applicants should have a recognised degree in Architecture/Surveying/Building Studies/Interior Design/Environmental Design or related disciplines with at least three years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese and proficiency in computer applications, including AutoCAD and Photoshop are required. He/She should also be pleasant, service-orientated, responsible, self-motivated, able to work collaboratively and independently. Applicants with less experience/qualification or year-out intern of architectural course with demonstrably strong aptitude may also be considered for the position of Assistant Officer.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
