RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Take lead for project planning, managing and controlling the execution of multi-disciplinary projects from inception to handover with high quality, within schedule and budget
2. Provide professional advice on renovations of existing facilities and construction of new facilities, conduct feasibility study and evaluation to identify possible procurement strategies and solutions
3. Supervise the works as well as to oversee all technical aspects from government submission, tender document and drawings preparation, contract admiistration, implementaton, works supervision, budget planning, cost control, procurement, to ensure all works meet government regulations/code requirementf for all redeployment projects, renovation and A&A projects
4. Liaise with the Government Departments to comply with the statutory requirements and standards
5. Work closely with different internal departments, teammates, consultants and contractor to ensure all works to be completed on time
6. Perform any other legitimate duties assigned by supervisor and management

REQUIREMENTS

1. An understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army
2. Degree of Surveying, Architectural Studies or related disciplines
3. Possess professional qualifications i.e., MHKIS, MHKIP preferrable
4. A minimum of 8 years of working experience in project management, with relevant experience in social service sector is preferable
5. Conversant with building ordinance & regulations, and code of practices
6. Excellent communication, negotiation, supervisory and interpersonal skills
7. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
8. Good command of AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, etc.
9. Able to work independently and under pressure
10. Work overtime as and when required
