Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Sales Manager to implement sales and marketing plans selling educational books and educational resources to schools, book retailers and other sales channels
• Responsible for achieving sales targets in designated districts of Hong Kong & Macau
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders: School Principals, teachers and business partners
• Regular reporting of market intelligence: provide feedback & strategic/tactical suggestions in relation to competitors and market situation
• Administrative support: collection of book lists from schools, book retailers, etc.
• Communication and co-ordination with different departments
• Support online and offline marketing activity
• Attend and represent Marshall Cavendish at school, networking and other relevant events

Requirements:

• Degree holder, preferably in a business or education related discipline, with at least 1 year's sales experience
• Work experience in Primary and/or Secondary educational publishing company will be an advantage but not a must
• Excellent interpersonal skills, detail minded and with strong sense of responsibility.  A passion for meeting and building meaningful networks
• Entrepreneurial spirit: target oriented, self-starter with a keen entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.  Able to communicate effectively with different parties
• Independent, good team player, customer first attitude
• Energetic, outgoing and detail oriented
• Excellent presentation skills
• Valid driving license
