Job Descriptions

• Design a complex multi-cavity injection mold tooling and fixtures
• Experience with 2-shot, stack tooling and hot runner systems required
• Generate 2D detail drawings for tooling, noting proper dimensional fits/tolerances for continuous high speed operation
• Work closely with in-house engineering group to meet development schedules
• Communicate with outside component vendors when required

Educational level

• Degree, Certification or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from VTC, local university. Or completion of certificated apprenticeship from vocational program or technical college
• Major in Tooling  Design
• Minimum if 5 years experiences

Skills Requirement:

• Extensive experience in mold design required. Experience with closure/medical molds a plus
• Prefer candidates have past experience in either injection molding for CNC/EDM operation
• Knowledgeable of material and hardness to select the most appropriate metals, alloys, material structure and treatments
• Able to use Solid Works required
• hands on toolmaking or machining experience
•  Strongly prefer candidates from overseas schools/employers with experience in western management culture and expectations
• Creative, self-motivated and willing to work in client team environment focused on quality, efficiency and time to market
• Candidate must have professional work attitude, discipline and always set high standards that reflect well upon themselves as well as the company.
