Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the top and bottom line of Accident & Health as assigned and contribute to deliver the company’s business target
• Execute underwriting activities including both individual and commercial risks underwriting with adherence to the company’s underwriting guideline and best practice
• Establish strong relationship with business partners and other stakeholders including external and internal customers to maximize influence and achieve business objectives
• Support product revamp activities including market research, product design, pricing and communications materials
• Provide regular portfolio performance report for analysis
• Conduct regular market research and comparison to ensure products offerings are up-to-date and competitive in the market

Requirements

• 2+ years working experience with experience gained within the insurance industry preferred, fresh graduate who is willing to learn and dedicated to be an underwriting specialist is welcome
• Degree or equivalent qualification
• Track record of sales and business development would be a plus
• Ability to establish strong relationship with business partners and internal customers
• Ability to understand and demonstrate awareness of market dynamics and market cycle to drive and enhance business performance
• Self-motivated and with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and analytical skill
• Good Excel, PowerPoint skills
