Job Responsibilities

• Strategize and implement lean /sigma principles and methodologies
• Implementation and ongoing improvement of a sustainable Lean Operating System at the manufacturing site
• Ensure adherence to improvement project budgets and minimize operating costs and overheads.
• Ensure implementation of KAIZEN’s leading to productivity improvements and cost savings.
• Plan for various improvement project initiatives across and ensure timely implementation.
• Conduct periodic review of Process at suppliers end initiatives and formulate action points
• Identify projects for quality, real-time manufacturing improvements, cost reduction & safer work place and ensure implementation across the strategic suppliers.
• Bring in new methodologies for process improvements and set up KPI’s to measure performance
• Review and ensure that inspection aids, suppliers manual, best practice manual (reference samples, specifications, Purchase Order info) are available and adequate for inspectors to conduct inspection effectively Identify problems in early stage of the production process and provide solutions
• Lead and facilitate Kaizen lean workshops
• Utilize Quality Engineering principles and problem-solving skills to develop and optimize products/processes that are aligned with the overall Quality and Business vision.
• Focus on identification of opportunity, training and recommending and implementation of Lean practices to deliver practical results long term.
• Drive analysis of opportunities led by an overall assessment of the factory and data’s. 
• Focus on problem areas and using this as the basis for training and solution development
• Focuses on converting the information from the diagnostic into a workshop session
• Propose a scalable framework that will deliver results over time
• Implement changes on the ground and ensure that changes are scalable across multiple sectors and geographies is key to long term savings.

Qualifications

• Good command of spoken and written English
• Willing to travel to China occasionally
• Proficiency in computer
• Immediate available is preferred
