Job Description
Role Overview
- Communications Consultant / Specialist, Health Solutions is responsible for a variety of tasks and projects, focused both on communications and marketing materials for Aon’s Wellbeing Solutions and Voluntary Benefits solution lines as well as external client employee-facing campaigns
- Experience in the development, execution, and continuous improvement of HR communication strategies, for digital, print and social media campaign management
Job Responsibilities
- Supports content development for Wellbeing Solutions and Voluntary Benefits solution lines, including writing of white papers, development of sales materials and digital marketing campaigns, generation of executive positioning projects / briefings, thought leadership amplification and activity execution
- Prepares monthly calendars to align with themes of upcoming Health Solution communications for leaders and other business stakeholders
- Focus on creating an employee-centric communications and campaigns, and thus requires an ability to partner with client HR stakeholders to understand culture and style guidelines
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and approaches for engaging communications based on the client’s culture and population
- Uses a wide range of communication channels (webcasts, face-to-face, video, online, print, social media/collaboration, etc.) to engage and inform all levels of colleagues
- Help execute communication strategies for a variety of initiatives to engage and inform colleagues, change behavior where required, and drive business results
- Oversees distribution of health-related communications (e.g., sending emails using Aon’s email management system, posting articles to Aon’s knowledge management platform (Aon Avenue), coordinate printing/mailing with vendor partners as needed)
- Measure effectiveness of communication activities by analysing metrics, identifying trends, preparing reports, and using feedback to improve future efforts
- Understands Aon’s brand standards and acts as a brand ambassador for Health Solution colleagues and clients
- Collaborates with global and local communications, marketing and business teams across Aon to align on approach, timing, and intent of messages
- Undertakes other duties that may be assigned from time to time by reporting managers
