Job Objective

Reporting to the Technology sourcing Director, you are the main interface with vendors on behalf of the BUs and you are responsible for sourcing and managing the vendors to track and monitor their performance and also keep good relationships with them to bring more benefit on company business.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible to work closely with vendors, to offer best quotation to BU on customized project linked to Memory / Power (power bank / wireless/cables )/ Audio ( speakers / earphones ) and other general technology products such as VR / Drones ..
• Provide inputs to BUs on price, quantity and lead time decisions. 
• Evaluate project feasibility based on Polyconcept expertise and vendor panel capabilities
• Ensure speed of reply as per SLA (inquiry to be replied within 24H)
• Responsible for full order follow up starting from inquiry until goods shipped
• Conduct ongoing trend research and identify hot products from vendors for the category, give inputs to BU’s Worldsource team to develop new offers and program
• Negotiate price/quantity/ETD by exception when vendors disagree with the initial POs issued from BUs. Validate with Bus
• Lead vendor relationship management and consistently tracking their performance based on related data, identifying preferred vendor per project based on Price /Speed / quality and customization capability
• Work with Compliance teams on product compliance and ensure new products meet legal requirements
• Follow project closely with vendor and related department (Quality /QC /Sales/Shipping ) to ensure On time delivery
• Settle all claim with BUs regarding orders

Qualifications

• At least 3 year experience in merchandising (Promotional Items field is preferred not a must)
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Willing to travel to China occasionally
• Proficiency in computer
• Immediate available is preferred
• Experience in consumer electronic is a plus ( Power / Audio / Memory or other electronic product )
