Job Description

The mission and responsibilities of this Assistant Boutique Manager are:

 

Advising, Selling & Clienteling

  • Build boutique action plan to reach boutique sales target
  • Monitor performance and KPIs of the Boutique and individual SA
  • Handle & solve issues related to clients
  • Sell when needed & be a role model regarding the selling ceremony
  • Follow / monitor SA’s contact plans & clienteling actions
  • Be the referent on clienteling activities

Operations

  • Supervise back office activities (stock management including POS display, cash & bills procedure, document management)
  • Build & follow-up team planning (shift) if necessary
  • Be the key-user for SAP & digital tools (Sales, CRM, CS and back office)
  • Be the referent of omnichannel topics
  • Can take over boutique daily operations if back-office staff is away
  • Support the Boutique Manager to guarantee retail procedures are respected (selling, CS, stock management, security)
  • Manage boutique expenses
  • Ensure awareness of Maison’s policies & commercial rules
  • Provide reportings

Team Development

  • Can takeover when Boutique Manager is away
  • Manage back-office staff
  • Manage her/his sales team
    • Set & follow-up objectives (IDP…)
    • Challenge & develop the team (coaching, 1 to 1 meetings, feedback, role play…)
    • Drive engagement
  • Define recruitment needs, participate in recruitments, and integrate new team members (induction, probation period management…)
  • Build awareness on local competitors’ team (top performers, associates looking for new job opportunities…)
  • Animate the team (prepare brief & share information)

Customer Services

  • Follow-up CS activities
  • Be a referent for CS activities
  • Foster business opportunities through CS
  • Ensure & develop customer services excellence
  • Handle & solve issues related to clients
  • Proceed the CS if needed (welcome client, advise, reassure, share information with client, perform CS activities allowed in the boutique)

Client Experience & In-boutique Journey

  • Coordinate omnichannel activities to ensure seamless client journey (orders, appointment booking, ship from boutique…)
  • Supervise client gifts inventory
  • Make sure the boutique is correctly & properly set-up to welcome the clients
  • Anticipate client’s specific needs
