Responsibilities:

• Lead financial executive to implementing new accounting standards and financial related projects
• Monitor the progress of various accounting projects including but not limited to the implementation of IFRS17 and IFRS 9
• Work collaboratively with Group, Regional and subject matter experts in gathering, translating and clarifying requirements and defining design options. This involves clarification and interpretation of accounting policy and accounting standards requirements.
• Assess the project scope and construct the new CoAs design and development in Oracle
• Participate in projects/seminars related to new accounting requirement development

Requirements:

• Degree holder in accounting / finance or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of accounting/financial experience, exposure to General insurance or Life insurance reporting is highly preferable
• Solid knowledge of IFRS/HKFRS
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Must be able to undertake projects independently and yet be a team player within the Finance team
• Proficient in English and Cantonese (speaking, reading, typing and writing). Fluency in Mandarin
