Ensure assigned actuarial tasks performed correctly, accurately and in a timely manner, working with more junior staff to complete these tasks. Identify and implement process improvements and controls. Complete assigned tasks in-line with internal/external governance requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide support on production of regular financial reporting including monthly, quarterly and annual submissions. Ensure the more junior staff perform tasks in line with requirements and that produced results are accurate with appropriate levels of checking
• Ensure actuarial models are set-up and run correctly, performing appropriate levels of checking as required. Ensure results are correctly output into useable formats, perform appropriate checks and controls and provide confirmation of appropriateness
• Provide support on reinsurance administration and other reinsurance related tasks ensuring appropriate levels of checking is performed and controls are in place
• Liaise with external reinsurers to provide information ensuring that governance requirements are met
• Coordinate the development of actuarial processes and controls with more junior staff members ensuring that internal and external governance and controls are adhered to
• Support ad hoc requests including analysis on financial results and commentary including coordination of more junior staff members to ensure accurate and complete
• Provide guidance, training and supervision to more junior staff members

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in any disciplines
• Minimum 3-4 years experience in Actuarial department
• Knowledge in Prophet or ALS modelling skill is an advantage
• Knowledge in investments operations is an advantage
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Detail minded with strong analytical skills
