Working Location: Kowloon

Duties:

• to lead a team of staff in administering financial scheme, including preparatory work for new initiatives, provision of support in scheme administration, reviewing and approving applications, etc.;
• to assist in preparing replies to complaints, appeals, general enquiries and enquiries/referrals from non-governmental organizations, concern groups, etc.;
• to perform specific scheme support duties e.g. hotline service, review of the vetting guidelines, user acceptance test, statistical returns, disbursement of payment;
• to assist in publicity work relating to the scheme;
• to provide executive support in office administration
• to undertake any other duties as assigned by senior officers.

Requirement:

• a degree from a Hong Kong university or equivalent;
• a minimum of 3 year's post-qualification full-time working experience in administration work, with experience at supervisory level in the Government/public sector organization or experience in administering Government scheme being an advantage;
• good command of both Chinese and English and have met the language proficiency requirements of "Level 2" results in the two language papers (Use of Chinese and Use of English) in the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE) or equivalent;
• equipped with good computer knowledge; and
• good interpersonal and communication skills
