Job Description:

The Acquisition Support will perform various administrative tasks on behalf of the acquisition team. He / She will also be responsible for all preliminary work that need to be done before acquisition takes place as well as post-acquisition support and processes.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Follow up for all pending contracts with Suppliers
• Constant contact with Suppliers on general queries
• Inter-department communication support (Technical, Finance, Sales and Marketing team)
• Provide support in preparing market information and financial reports
• Getting relevant movie information materials from Distributors
• Follow up with Suppliers regarding theatrical and inflight release dates and updating of the monthly release line-up
• Research on new and emerging markets
• Administration support – booking meeting schedules, travel arrangements and travel expense reports
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as deemed necessary

 Skills

• The Acquisition Support must be dedicated to providing excellent department support. He / She should also be adaptable to work within a team and independently, as the case may be.
• Observation and communication skills will also be a vital role and he / she is expected to have sound knowledge of modern business applications used for preparing records and presentations (Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.).
• Attention to detail, hardworking and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Honest and good inter-personal skills. Willingness to learn, accurate, well-organized and able to work under pressure.
• Experience in Film and TV industry will be an advantage
• Immediate availability is preferred.
