Key Responsibilities:

Intern, Legal and Compliance Department

• Assist in drafting and reviewing business documents, funds related documents and materials to ensure compliance with statutory and SFC requirements
• Assist in conducting research and providing legal advice and support to internal departments
• Assist general compliance matters such as regulatory reporting, AML and KYC matters
• Assist to prepare the company secretarial documents
• Keep good maintenance of the legal documents
• Provide ad-hoc legal and compliance support to the team

 Intern, Trading Department

• Execute trading instructions from portfolio managers, products included Hong Kong/China A/US equities, onshore/offshore fixed income, FX and OTC products etc
• Perform pre-trade/post-trade checking. Ensure the orders are in full compliance with the fund’s investment guidelines, as well as external regulatory requirements
• Perform trade support functions such as trade verification, confirmation and settlements
• Intra & End of Day trade recaps and trade reports

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate in Law, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Corporate Governance or related discipline
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Strong Coordination, communication and problem solving skills
• Self-motivated with good sense of responsibility and “can-do” attitude
• Experience in preparation of legal contracts or documents will be an advantage
• Able to use electronic trading systems such as Bloomberg AIM would be a plus
