Job description

1. Conduct system designs of MCU, SoC, IoT, AIoT applications, etc.

2. Research on various Sensor, RF, MCU and SoC technologies. Propose the most cost effective semiconductor solutions for the target applications.

3. Design the architecture of the system. Perform prototyping of the system using discrete IC components, CPU, SoC and FPGA, etc., in the proof-of-concept phrase.

4. For suitable applications, proceed with further steps for commercialization.

5. For applications with cost benefits, define design specification of the IC after the proof-of-concept phrase, for the purpose of reducing the overall component count and system cost.

6. Work with design house for the IC design implementation, verification, wafer processing, chip evaluation and debugging. Manage the progress to meet the chip tapeout schedule.

Job requirements

1. More than 7 years of work experience in semiconductor industry, including 3 years of system design experience and skills across hardware, software and silicon.

2. Knowledge in the IC design development process from spec definition, design implementation and verification, wafer processing, chip evaluation and debugging.

3. Outsourcing project management experience and skills is an advantage.
