Responsibilities:

Contract to a government department to perform project management of IT projects.

• Responsible for project management, quality assurance and providing technical advice on system development and maintenance projects;
• Carry out the IT security related duties including but not limited to reviewing the existing IT Security Policy and promoting IT security awareness;
• Lead an in-house team and vendors/outsourcers to deliver IT projects, maintain IT systems; and
• Assist in IT manpower planning, resource deployment and budget management for IT projects. 

Requirements:

• Degree/Higher Diploma holder in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Minimum 10 years of IT working experience;
• Minimum 2 years experience as Project Manager or similar capacity;
• Minimum 5 years of experience on Project Management and Team Leading;
• Minimum 10 years of experience in System Implementation and maintenance/support of IT systems;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Security;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SSADM;
• Attained certification in widely accepted project management / IT security methodologies such as PMP/PRINCE2/CISA/CISM/CISSP is highly desirable;
• Experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit is highly desirable;
• Experience in Government Procurement / Disposal Procedures is desirable; and
• Work experience with/in the Government is desirable.
