Project and Application Manager (i-bank), Contract

Our client is a top-tier multinational investment bank and financial services company who is looking for an experienced Project Manager on Compliance Technology to join the fast pacing team to work on the regional projects.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with Compliance Technology team in APAC and the Project Management Office (PMO) teams on regional projects
• Work across the globe with colleagues in Asia, EMEA and US on all technical, business and financial requirements
• Prepare project budgets, headcount and forecasts
• Provide project status reporting to Compliance Tech colleagues, business partners and PMO teams as required
• Perform and coordinate all test phases of the projects
• Manage application for small-medium sized applications and ensuring that the applications are compliant with all of our application governance standards and requirements

Requirements:

• Over 5 years experience in a technology capacity such as Project Leader/Manager, Business Analyst, System Tester, in financial services environment
• Experience in all facets of the software development and project life cycle and the end-to-end phases of the SDLC
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Strong Global Markets knowledge and high level experience of a wide range of financial products (especially Fixed Income and FX) and the associated static/reference data
• Experience of working in a Compliance environment, particularly Trade Surveillance, Equity Aggregation, AML is preferred
• Experience in using Jira and SQL are desired
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Team player with great interpersonal skills
