Job Responsibilities

• Technical Data / Architecture Support of IFRS 17 Project
• Responsible for technical evaluation on IFRS17 solution design and ensure system implementation works are properly delivered
• Liaising with local and regional teams – including Finance, Actuarial and IT teams, vendors and consultants in different work streams for project delivery, quality assurance and on-going system maintenance / support
• Providing leadership and architecture guidance on data / technical architecture to various work stream application team to ensure design consistency
• Assistance to Project Managers in project planning and monitoring of project progress
• Work with consultant & business team to document, review and approve IFRS17 data / technical architecture design
• Assist in preparation of system integration test plan and support SIT/UAT test
• Assist other BAU project, production support and team management activities when needed

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Studies, Information Management or related disciplines
• Minimum 6 years’ work experience in Information Technology, preferably in insurance/banking or finance sectors
• Solid experience in Finance and/or Actuarial data, system and process
• Hands on experience in Big Data / Data Lake / Data Warehouse, ETL, sub-ledger and/or understanding of IFRS17 standard is an advantage
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Willing to travel to other local and regional offices
