Executive Summary:

Our client is an international leading IT services management company, specializing in technology and management servicing for multinational clients in banking, manufacturing, hospitality as well as other large-scale enterprises. It is currently looking to hire a senior network specialist or technical engineer to provide daily technical support like network infrastructures and project implementation to the corporate clients in APAC region.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work closely with US counterparts on APAC IT projects
• Provide technical expertise & support for network infrastructures
• Responsible for first line diagnosis, resolution and root cause analysis of network related problems
• Implement network changes in accordance with the change of management process
• Support project implementation which includes network equipment installation & configuration, platform interaction, project management and end users
• Support network infrastructure components including Switches / Firewall / Load balancer / Proxy server / VPN / Infoblox / ACS / WLC / Router
• Utilize network management systems/software and appropriate analyzers to collect network load statistics, model performance, and create reports
• Work on assignments in areas including automation, product evaluation, tool development etc.

Key Requirements:

• University graduate in relevant disciplines, such as engineering, telecommunications, or IT related disciplines
• At least 6 years solid working experience on complex network operations and/or maintenance preferably in a regional banking and finance environment
• Certified CCIE is preferred
• Experience in working in data centre LAN infrastructure environment is preferred
• Knowledge of popular brands of routers/switches, firewalls and other networking devices such as VPN, load balancers, etc.
• Experience in LAN/WAN standards and protocols on VLAN / OSPF / SNA / DSLW / BSTUN / MPLS
• Familiar with common domestic and international telecommunication services
