Description

As a Master Planner, you lead a team to take responsibility for ensuring all customers’ requirements and expectations are delivered on-time in full quality.  Your team proactively takes care of operational planning and execution, such as risk assessment, preventive actions, order management, product development (NPI etc.), supply chain management, inventory control, production planning and on-time in full delivery.  You lead as role-model for colleagues together with everyone to continually improve processes and systems.  In-depth understanding of ISO9001:2015 methodologies and lean waste is highly appreciated.


Responsibilities

• Optimize master planning of resources (capacity, availability etc.) for reliability, execution effectiveness and on-time in full delivery in order to satisfy all customers’ demand in products and services
• Proactively assess risk to full customer satisfaction and take preventive actions; develop specific contingency strategy
• Manage orders, product development (NPI etc.), supply chain, inventory control, production planning and delivery
• Analyze inconsistency among master schedule, production, deliveries and customer satisfaction
• Lead initiatives to identify areas for system and process improvement, propose improvements and drive implementation (PDCA, PDSA)
• Develop operational standards, key input indicators, costing and statistical reports in accordance with policies for management review
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems ISO9001 and preferably ISO/TS16949 and ISO13485
• Develop team spirit and commit to cooperative learning

Requirements

• At least 8 years of resource planning and direct manufacturing experience in precision parts and small electrical appliances in China; lesser experience will be considered for Senior Planner
• Bachelor’s degree or above in industrial engineering, supply chain management, applied statistics, logistics or related discipline
• Familiar with injection molding processes and final assembly processes
• Familiar with ERP systems (ideally Epicor) and advanced user of Excel
• Enjoy living as a team player

• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must
• Full-time stationed in Huizhou, China during workdays (1.5 hours from HK)
