Job Description

As our COO in Hong Kong, China, you are responsible for establishing and creating a specific brand strategy for TITIKA in Hong Kong. Overall, you are will manage all sales, marketing activities and expand South-eastern Asian market as well. You will direct, implement and oversee all our marketing and sales of TITIKA strategy for Hong Kong (created by you) to ensure business objectives are achieved.

In this role, you are required to build a team in order to generate brand visibility through influencer relationship, brand content, public relations and digital /social channel contribution, etc. You also need to oversee the whole sales procedure and collaborate with both North America and China team, oversee logistics, Shop Operations, e-commerce, product and several other internal partners to ensure the product and service is well received by our clients.

You will be the connector between North America and Asia market, the builder for this most important central market in Chinese mainland, the creator and the keeper for the brand as well as the core leader in our whole TITIKA team, You are the key to bringing our brand into the magnificent market - Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Allocate 30% of your time to lead, develop, coach and guide your team in establishing goals and developing their competencies that drive performance
• Model the company culture, and exemplify our shared values on a day-to-day basis
• Define, model and demonstrate the behaviors that enhance engagement, build enduring relationships and represent the TITIKA brand at all times
• Support the development of a culture that balances financial results and an execution-focus with a fun, dynamic and creative atmosphere
• Foster an environment of continuous learning and development that embraces individuality

• Oversee the opening and management of all implementation in Hong Kong
• Establish, train and develop TITIKA Hong Kong team
• Partner with related industry to create strategies that generate business growth
• Assume full accountability for all business operations in the region
• Manage all TITIKA employees, ensuring our operations at the highest level of integrity and are generating a world-class experience
• Maintain an ongoing dialogue with the related business partners
• Closely monitor the operating and financial results against plans and budgets
• Ensure the smooth development and management of TITIKA corporate culture, people review processes, and leadership development focus in the retail shops and regional office
• Participate in the Global Executive Team strategic planning meetings
• Provide product assortment and design feedback to TITIKA planning department

• Oversee the region’s community marketing efforts and liaise with head office’s Brand Department
• Act as a key connector to the creative class in the region
• Act as a professional advisor to the Headquarters on all aspects of the region’s activities
• Responsible for managing all inventory aspects within your region to ensure optimum margin and sell through
• Develop and execute effective business strategies, market strategies and financial plans
• Partner with Training Department to roll out any training that may be required within your region
• Proactively recruit for all open roles within your region
• Assist with the formulation of company policies in the region

Competencies

• University degree or diploma in business, marketing or a closely related field
• 5+ years retail leadership and management experience in a vertically integrated company

• Self-starter
• High competency in project management
• Strong diagnostic analytical skills (root cause analysis)
• Lead and motivate others
• Apparel merchandising is an asset
• Able to travel internationally as may be required from time to time
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Great sense of humor, positive outlook, and able to effectively receive and communicate feedback
• Foster a transparent, honest and positive team environment
• Results-oriented and process-driven, with high expectations of self and team
