High-Level Position Purpose:

• Leads projects in Damco APAC sector and execute within a finite timeframe.  Manages project performance, risks, budget and business case providing a real-time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of all streams
• Support to elevate both internal and external communications which are valuable to employees and customers in APAC sector

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

• Has accountability for overall project or multiple work streams including project plan, scope, cost, work schedule, design and build, and contractual deliverables
• Define and manage detailed project and resource plan, project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies Define and manage detailed project and resource plan, project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies
• Carries out detailed requirements analysis and sizing of project team
• Manages project resources including external service vendors
• Establishes effective communications with stakeholders
• Ensures delivery to the project plan and budget
• Provides full project reporting
• Assist Sector Head in receiving and evaluating communication initiatives, and implement them as relevant
• Prepare executive announcements to the local organization

Required experience & skills

• At least 5 years’ experience in commercial development or project management roles. Preferably from an international company
• Strong Project management skills, ability to manage a matrix of stakeholders
• A strong execution mindset with strong financial technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus including an understanding of systems.
• Collaborative, open and focused on collective results, while taking responsibility for driving individual goals
• Excellent team player, but also a self-starter
• Proficient presentation skills
• Curious, flexible and able to manage changing priorities
• Local media channel and editorial understanding will be a plus
