Job Summary

As a Junior Analyst, you will conduct extensive database, as well as internet and media research, into companies and individuals with the aim of providing our clients with a detailed overview of their public profile including analysis of both negative and positive issues. This involves looking at the subjects’ background, reputation, track record and identifying red flags associated to them (political exposure, bribery, corruption, links to organized crime etc). You will need to carefully analyse the collected data and include a summary of pertinent findings into a comprehensive project report. The complexity of the assignments will vary in nature, depending on our clients’ requirements.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive research in publicly-available and corporate subscribed databases in Thailand and other jurisdictions as needed.
• Translate and summarize media articles, court records, corporate filings, balance sheets, and other types of documentation from local language to English.
• Analyse vast amounts of data and compile relevant information into a comprehensive and standardized due diligence report.
• Locate additional resources in the public domain, as well as external vendors that TSG can use to produce due diligence reports.

Training

All new members of our team will undergo an in-house training program. Basic knowledge of the due diligence industry and report writing will be achieved within the first month of their employment.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• University degree level
• Native or near native fluency in Thai language
• Extremely strong English-language writing skills
• Good online research skills and ability to summarize complex information clearly and concisely
• Detail-oriented and well-organized with an analytical mindset
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines
• Be a team player with a positive attitude and proactive approach to work
• Outside-the-box mentality ready to adapt and accept challenges to grow professionally
• Preferable but not a must one-year work experience in a professional environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and high standard of ethics
  

Although candidates with previous experience in Due Diligence, Pre-employment Screening, Market Research and related fields are more than welcome, this is not a requirement.
