The role of Equity Research Editor will be on-site with one of Lionbridge’s clients, a top tier international investment bank. The Equity Research Editor will work closely with a team of Asia-based analysts and editors to review and edit equity research and ensure stringent standards are met in terms of language and compliance to the relevant regulations.
 
Responsibilities

• Set, meet, and manage tight editing and workflow schedules and deadlines by working one-on-one with Asia-based analysts and strategists
• Edit research reports in English, ensuring tone, and quality of the English meet the house style
• Proofread analyst reports for spelling, grammar, logic and layout
• Verify accuracy, cross checking for the following: numbers for consistency and company names mentioned inside reports
• Pre-SA review for adherence to compliance standards and relevant regulatory requirements
• Distribute reports globally through an internal system

 
Requirements 

• Experience: 5+ years' research editing experience. Would consider less if a candidate's background is financial journalism
• Excellent English language skills: expert knowledge of grammar and punctuation, ability to correct language without changing the meaning, while retaining the original 'tone' of research
• Strong business writing skills – clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to juggle tasks well and to prioritise workload according to business demands
• Work with integrity, respect and collaboratively with the Research Operations Team and internal clients
• Team-oriented individual willing to focus on team success before individual achievement. Consideration and support of colleagues is critical to success
• Candidates must be willing to "go the extra mile" to ensure work is completed to the timetable at the highest quality possible.
• Training in various firm applications, compliance standards and internal procedures is necessary
