Responsibilities

• Create and maintain vendors’ account information with Finance in order to contribute to the smooth business operations.
• Process purchase orders for new products including local vendors and/ or consignors ensuring the order are delivered as scheduled.
• Monitor the inventory level and process replenishment purchase order with the consideration of sales target, inventory budget and promotion plans ensuring optimized inventory level is maintained.
• Monitor sales performance and propose improvement actions with the target of sales targets achievement.
• Gather quotations from local vendors and propose the pricing for promotion items for management approval.
• Communicate and negotiate with local vendors to strive for maximum promotion supports.
• Maintain related promotion reports in order to provide an overall picture of the updated status of all promotion activities for management review.
• Produce sales reports for both regular and promotion items for management review.

Requirements

• High Diploma or University Degree in related discipline with minimum of 3 years' merchandising experience in the sake & wine industry.  
• Basic wine knowledge is a must, knowledge in Food, Sake or Wine industry and hold a sake sommelier will be an asset.
• Have a great passion for sake & wines.
• Strong business acumen with excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
• Able to handle multiple tasks under tight schedule and rapidly changing environment while maintaining attention to details and accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS office software applications.
• Good command of spoken and written Japanese, English and Cantonese.
