Responsibilities:

• In direct contact with the regional Product Manager in regards to the development of a new product / program within the season
• Engage with the Vendor Management team on where to allocate based on capabilities, cost and capacity available within the Vendor base
• Liaise with suppliers on price negotiation, capacity management as well as quality required
• Track programs into our internal system, including Sampling from Vendor to customer and Tech to get necessary approvals prior moving into bulk production
• All production tracking activities with the suppliers, including monitor critical production dates, communicate with the PD&S, the factories and Regional Fulfilment team to ensure timely delivery
• Work with MM Team to coordinate the materials and provide supports to vendors on development issue and ensure Tech approvals in time
• Strategic cost management & analysis on country of origin, CM, FTA’s
• Other duties as required from time to time to make sure the overall effectiveness and customer service focus of the organization

Requirements:

• University degree in textile and clothing or related discipline
• At least 3 years of solid working experience in Knit Items, preferably gained in buying office or multi-national companies
• Experience on product development & understanding of manufacturing process is preferable
• Possess knowledge of technical design, fabric, yarns, construction, wash, embellishment and print technique
• Understanding of apparel market and PLM system will be an advantage
• Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin and/or another relevant Asian language
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
