MAIN MISSIONS
In line with the local business plan, the Retail Director proposes and implements a Retail strategy for HK-Macau in order to ensure long-term strategic and financial objectives are achieved.

Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the retail network, ensuring that the quantitative and qualitative objectives are reached and maintaining best-in-class hardware and software.

Will stay in tune with market intelligence to relay retail opportunities to management (new boutiques, extension, relocation ...)

KEY RESULT AREAS AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail Strategy & Retail Operations
- Input and implement local retail strategy, monitor and update when necessary.
- Define and communicate missions and objectives of each boutique and all team members, clearly establishing priorities.
- Coordinate retail activities with Brand HQ and local internal departments (i.e. Operation, PR, Marketing, After Sales) in order to synergize the needs of all departments in achieving common retail objectives.
- Develops & supports sales initiatives & Customer Relationship action plans.

Boutique Teams Management
- Oversee all aspects of the Retail Division for the brand in HK-Macau; manage retail staff with objective of building strong, motivated team.
- Lead recruitments of Boutique Managers and staff and ensures that Boutique Managers identify "star" candidates who have long-term potential with the brand; in order to define career paths and promote advancement.
- Work with international team to create equitable remuneration policy for employees encouraging job retention and satisfaction.
- Develop and implement training programs and sales training plans (introduction, negotiation, closing of sale, reduction of discount).
- Ensure that Boutique staff is familiar with new products, best practices, advertising campaigns, corporate policies, and local/global brand initiatives.

Retail Development
- Supervise Retail Development for boutiques in conjunction with Hong Kong – Macau Managing Director.
- Manage boutique openings and renovations.
- Ensure proper maintenance & visual merchandising of all Boutiques, both internal & external, in HK & Macau if applicable.

JOB PROFILE
- University graduate
- At least 10 years retail experience and minimum 2 years Head of Retail position
- Strong leadership with excellent inter-personnel skills
- Agile, sales driven and is comfortable to work in fast pacing environment
- Good analytical skills, detail-oriented, good planning and organizing skills
- High proficiency in MS office applications such as Excel, Powerpoint.
- Mature, self-motivated, good communicator, customer focused
- English language a must, local languages such as Mandarin & Cantonese a bonus
