Reports to: Assistant Cargo Services Manager – Performance and Implementation

As Cargo Services Coordinator – Performance and Implementation, your principal responsibility is through working with our cargo teams in 80+ overseas offices, to deliver and support the highest standards of  cargo safety, operational excellence and service quality by ensuring compliance of ports’ performance and investigate irregularities system-wide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the compliance and service improvement program including Unit Load Device (ULD) and its compliance program.
• Implement cargo irregularities prevention program.
• Collect and analyze data of cost and service quality to support the compliance program. 
• Issue cargo services notice.
• Provide ad-hoc on-site support to outstations system wide which includes the implementation of and support to the activities related to set up of new port, change of supplier and office re-location.
• Provide ground support for cargo charter and/or wet lease operation.
• Coordinate with parties involved in the application of Munitions of War (MUW) shipment and arrangement of shipment attendant on board.
• Conduct port audit which includes Dangerous Goods and Security related to operational procedures.
• Coordinate with ports and Cargo Hub Operations HK in repositioning the excess ULD.

Requirements:

• Tertiary education qualifications preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years air cargo operations experience.
• Good command of spoken and written English. Spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Sound planning and organisational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal with the ability to interact with people at all levels and in a multi-cultural working environment.
• Sound PC knowledge in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• A good team player with self initiative and ability to work independently.
• Willing to travel overseas regularly and within short notice.
