Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the accounting operations in Hong Kong, including accounting, financial planning & analysis, treasury and taxation and ensure the operations are complied with company policies & procedures.
- Oversee Asia Pacific monthly and quarterly closing procedure and related accounting matters
- Provide quarterly and yearly Asia Pacific consolidated financial reporting and analytical packages under corporate guidelines and timeframe
- Responsible for the annual budgeting, monthly forecast and support the management reporting for business review
- Handle all taxation matters for Hong Kong companies and ensure timely reporting and compliance with tax regulations
- Collaborate with APAC finance team and IT to review operation systems to enhance working efficiency
- Liaise with external professional consultants on auditing and taxation issues
- Prepare ad-hoc assignments on request
Requirements:
- University graduate in Accountancy with minimum 10 years of solid experience in financial reporting, preferably in MNC with minimum 3 years at managerial level
- Familiar with HKFRS and US GAAP
- Mature, independent, good team player with customer focused mindset
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight reporting schedule
- Good command of spoken and written English and mandarin
- Excellent knowledge on MS Office application, knowledge of Oracle financials is preferred
- Occasional travel is needed
