Job Description
SUMMARY
It would be the hybrid role with 70% focus on logistics and 30% focus on admin. The candidate should experience with extensive operational and process improvement know-how, covering logistics/shipping, customs clearance, and domestic distribution. Also, the
candidate will need to assist the supervisor about the office admin and relevant event supports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Logistics – 70%
- Understand and navigate through complex and challenging local customs, tax and distribution landscape
- Implement all service/billing/logistic aspects highlighted in the distribution contract
-Prepare Aligner inbound documentations such as Purchase Order, Commercial Invoice
-Provide daily inbound receiving reports for warehouse
-Resolve shipping and distribution related issues and feedback from vendor
-Inbound/outbound shipping status monitoring
-Declaration
- Handling requests from Sales Team
- Strong inventory control and follow up on deliveries for products and marketing materials
- Support and follow up on logistics related projects
- Event support
Administration – 30%
- Placing office necessity order: Stationery, Water, toner, pantry stuff or any other office necessities
- Handle incoming phone calls and greetings incoming visitors
- Deal with different vendors in related to office equipment’s maintenance
- Contact service vendors for maintenance – photocopier, broadband, water machine, carpet cleaning, air-conditioning
- Handle Incoming and outgoing mails
- Office IT support
- Office expenses invoice consolidate and checking
- New hire on boarding
Additional responsibilities
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
- Report all unsafe activities to Manager and/or Human Resources.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS degree in Business Management, Logistics or Supply Chain or equivalent practical experience
- 2-3 years of experience in the logistics industry or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems is essential (SAP experience is a definite advantage)
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong communication skill of internal and external customers
Language skills
- Fluent Cantonese, English (spoken, written, reading) and Mandarin
- Strong interpersonal, listening and persuasive communication skills.
- Dynamic, optimistic, accurate, results oriented, hard-working, creative.
- Dependable and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn.
- Good team player.
- Good knowledge of basic computer operations and Microsoft Office tools.
