The successful applicant for this position will work with Operations Engineering team to undertake and report on aircraft performance and operations engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertaking projects on engine out takeoff procedure design, enroute decompression and driftdown procedure design
• New route and new aircraft type payload study, weight and balance analysis, noise abatement procedure design
• Creating performance data for the FCOM and computer flight planning system
• Reviewing changes on performance related manuals and software from manufacturers
• Provide training on aircraft performance to operation staff and flight crew

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Aeronautical Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 year experience in the aircraft performance and operations engineering 
• Experience in Airbus and Boeing performance programs, knowledge of SCAP is an advantage
• Familiar with CS-25, EU-OPS and other civil aviation regulations
• Excellent numeric analytical skill and proficient with MS software and computer programming knowledge, e.g. C++, Visual Basic, and Fortran
• Good communication skills  and good command of both spoken and written English
• Able to work independently and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment 
• Candidate with less experience may be considered for a junior position
