Requirements:

• University degree with professional qualifications such as CFA or CPWP 
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in investment advisory function of PB or minimum of 10 years’ experience in product advisory function cross asset classes
• Proficiency in English; Fluent in Mandarin; 3^rd language is a plus
• Demonstration of market knowledge and advisory skills
• Diversified product knowledge for multiple asset classes within a portfolio context
• Strong self-motivation with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong mind-set of risk management

Responsibilities:

• Provides investment ideas to CROs in North Asia and private clients of tagged accounts with an emphasis on asset allocation. Products coverage includes Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Funds, DPM, Alternatives and Structured solutions. Participates in client calls and meetings with the marketing team or CROs. Coordinates and executes sales campaign when required.
• Prepares quality and user friendly investment materials to augment CROs’ marketing efforts.
• Holds regular investment meetings with CROs and educates them on the latest developments on global financial markets, originate investment ideas and investment themes.
• Interacts and effectively manage relationship with various internal stakeholders and external counterparties. Coaches and supports the frontline effort in exploring business opportunities.
• Keeps the team up-to-date on new market trends and latest development of investment products. Facilitates the implementation of new product ideas in terms of due diligence, operational logistics, documentation and presentation.
• Adheres to all applicable legislation, including relevant parts of the HKMA / SFC Code and Guidelines. Adheres to all relevant internal guidelines and procedures.
• Other tasks as assigned by Head of Investment Counselling, Hong Kong Branch.
