Responsibilities:

• Perform/ Monitor daily settlement operations, including trade confirmation preparation, SI/ ATI handling, corporate actions, other CCASS operations, and review all the necessary reconciliations arising from the relating securities operations
• Supervising CCASS and platform operations
• Liaise with front office and/or external parties to resolve operation issues
• Prepare daily and monthly clients’ transactions, statements and settlement reports and other administrative duties
• Perform / Monitor daily stock and cash reconciliation
• Assist to liaise with other professional bodies and communicate with relevant authorities, such as SFC and HK Stock Exchange
• Communicate and liaise with Departments and RO to resolve any daily issues
• Assist in formulating and maintaining proper documentation of all operations, policies, and procedures, including operational and risk control procedures, review and enhance internal operation procedures for business operations
• Handling ad hoc projects in business development and regulatory requirement

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years’ solid experience in settlement operations
• Familiar with the operation of CCASS & procedure of HKEX
• Strong communication skills, self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure
• Good command of spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
• A team leader/player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Good knowledge of PC applications including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Settlement Officer
