Responsibilities:

• Supervise and co-ordinate the works with Draftsman and report to the department head on various aspects of the project.
• Develop design drawings from 'Tender and/or Design Intent' with the help of the Designers.
• Ensure that all drawings submission can fulfill the Contracts / Architect’s requirements.
• Verify the Curtain Wall fixing details with structural layout / details.
• Prepare Curtain Wall detail for engineering calculations.
• Obtain approval from the Client / Architect and organize submission for the Building Department.
• Ensure all drawings issued to the Client or inter-office are checked and logged.
• Issue all construction drawings to Projects Team.
• Maintain proper filing record of drawing transmittal and project correspondence.

Requirements:

• Degree/Higher Diploma in Building Engineering or equivalent.
• 8 years’ experience with minimum 5 years in curtain wall / window wall design and drafting.
• Familiar with 3D and AutoCAD is a must.
• Ability to propose any design and technical solutions.
• Experience in developing of curtain wall details from architectural drawings independently
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Applicants with less experience may be considered as Assistant Design Manager
