Job Description
With over 1,000 employees at 14 locations worldwide a German construction company seeks motivated personal for their HK office:
Responsibilities:
- Verify and certify payment application from sub-contractors
- Prepare tender submission consisting of planning, prelims, sequencing, supply chain etc.
- Responsible for handling pre and post contract quantity surveying duties
- Check Interim Payment Certification timely
- Prepare budget control and V.O. assessment and claims
- Collect all information and document for V.O. assessment and claims
- Prepare site measurement
- Assist tender submission and tender analysis
- Prepare variation submission, follow up variation assessment and assist in the settlement of final account
- Assist the project management team to handle contractual related issues
- Prepare relevant Cost & Construction Estimates
Job Requirements:
- Able to work under tight schedule and pressure
- Proficient in PC applications (e.g. MS Excel, Words, Project, PowerPoint etc)
- Candidate with less experience will be considered for the post of Assistant Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines
- Self-motivated and be able to work independently
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in cost estimation/ quantity surveying
- Good English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) both in written and communication
