Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Reports directly to the Group Director of Food & Beverage, and oversee the group's Food & Beverage operations which includes all culinary, restaurant, and room service operations;

  • Assists Group Director of Food & Beverage to develop and implement food & beverage operating strategy that is aligned with the brand's business strategy;

  • Ensures Food & Beverage policies are administered fairly and consistently according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP);
  • Manages the revenue and cost to determine how Food and Beverage is performing against budget;

  • Assists each restaurant's management team to ensure their operation effectiveness and to achieve their business goals;

  • Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service and operational needs are met with the group's standards;

  • Provides on going training to ensure employees understand the guest expectation and establish guidelines so employees understand the group's expectations and parameters;
  • Ensures that regular, on-going communication occurs in all areas of food and beverage ( e.g., pre-meal briefings, staff meetings, culinary team). 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Hospitality of Hotel and Catering Management;

  • At least 3 years of restaurant management experience, including minimum 2 years of experience in managing multiple outlets;
     
  • Strong business acumen and proven track record in implementing F&B marketing initiatives. Willingness to work flexible schedules;

  • Hands-on management style and problem solver with goal-oriented action;

  • Strong sensitivity to F&B market changes and good understanding of F&B concept development;

  • Experienced and well-versed in different restaurant operations including Michelin starred restaurant which is an advantage;

  • Excellent leadership, communication and motivation skills with sound interpersonal relationship skills;
