Job Description
Job duties:
- Drive setup of the Life New Business & Underwriting function and lead the team to deliver the best services to intermediaries and customers
- Define all the Life New Business & Underwriting processes and develop relevant guidelines, procedures, controls, TAT and KPIs
- Review and refine the underwriting principles, guidelines and standards that are market competitive, risk based as well as compliant with company guidelines
- Coach and drive the team to continuously improve the overall services quality and mitigate risks
- Manage the service vendors and monitor their service quality and performance according to defined SLA
- Lead the Life New Business & Underwriting projects and closely work with the other teams and departments to meet project timelines, scope, budget
Your Skills and Experience
- Degree holder with minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Life New Business & Underwriting function, in which at least 5 years in a capacity of people manager
- Thorough understanding of life products and life operations
- Knowledge of Six Sigma would be an advantage
- Track record of delivery of large scale system or regulatory projects
- Able to lead, drive changes and build effective relationships with others
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
