Responsibilities:

• Handle Property claims within delegated authority according to company policies.
• Determine proper policy coverage to conclude, investigate, evaluate and negotiate assigned cases.
• Ensure recoverable amounts are assessed and effectively followed up.
• Ensure legitimate claims are paid in accordance with policy conditions by providing technical expertise.
• Quickly respond to and resolve complaints within the agreed service standards. Take immediate corrective actions when necessary.
• Support the implementation of claims management strategies and objectives.
• Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve claims systems and procedures.
• Maintain good client relationships with the insured, agents, service providers and the general public.
• Provide information and feedback on claims activity and developing trends to underwriters/risk assessors to enable appropriate actions to be carried out.

• Coach junior staff within the team on investigation and settlement of claims.

 Requirements:

• Tertiary graduate with professional qualifications in insurance or related disciplines.
• Preferably with at least 5 to 7 years' working experience in handling Property and/or Liability claims.
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Officer.
• Strong knowledge of insurance industry and claims processes.
• Excellent analytical and organising skills.
• Able to work independently and meet service standards.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
