Job Description

We are part of the April Group, a Paris listed, A+ AM best rated insurance specialist with 3,800 staff in 30+ countries. 

 

We are currently looking for a trainee to work with and support our fast -expanding multinational Claims Team. 

It is initially an 6 months traineeship starting in September of this year.

 

The successful candidate will report directly to the Claim Supervisor and the Chief Operational Officer and have as main duty: 

 

·        Assist in the daily tasks of the claims department in establishing payment reports and performing data entry and cleaning 

·        Assist in reports and activity monitoring of the Operations (underwriting, policy, claims, customer success) 

·        Assist in project management including define needs and perform testing 

·        Assist in process formalization

 

The ideal candidate should master the following skills: 

  

·        Self-driven and autonomous as the person will be managing his/her own claim files 

·        Rigorous with a keen eye for details 

·        Able to operate effectively in a truly multinational context 

·        Creative, able to think out of the box and come back with new idea and solutions 

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English 

·        Good to excellent computer skills, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook, Internet, etc.
